The laughter of my kids and a Diet Coke

Have YOU seen my Bing Crosby Christmas CD?  It just doesn’t like the holidays until I’ve heard Bing croon White Christmas several times.

That aside, this is an especially special time of the year for us.  And THIS year is especially especially special time of the year.  (Don’t ya just love my writing?)  On the 18th, Jay and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage.

This year my Sweetie has been conducting a “20 Days til 20 Years” campaign.  Starting the countdown a few days ago, he brings home a little gift….yesterday is was a bottle of Diet Coke.  (To help negate the calories of the Dove bar a few days ago, no doubt.)  The other day is was a nifty Christmas decoration.  It’s been so much fun.

We thought many years ago that we’d celebrate our 20th with a cruise but I think in many ways…being at home with our healthy, happy (and often hilarious) children and enjoying the simple pleasures of a Diet Coke with my hubby is pretty hard to beat.  Though if I had Bingy singing in the background….that would be even more nice!
